Young El Paso Marine Animal Enthusiast Gets Special Attention at Scottsdale Aquarium

Five-year-old Adam Anglin from El Paso, Texas had a dream fulfilled when he visited OdySea Aquarium in Scottsdale, AZ, on Tuesday to learn more about the aquarium’s Giant Pacific Octopus (GPO). A huge fan of the species, Adam’s mom, Alex, sent the aquarium a short video of Adam expressing his excitement to learn about OdySea’s GPO, which the young Texan affectionately dubbed, “a clever guy.”

Rare Orange Lobster Discovered at Nobu Restaurant Donated to Aquarium

Complex, Rare Surgery for Beloved Stingray Saves Her Life

Bee, a beloved honeycomb whiptail stingray, who has called OdySea Aquarium home since the attraction first opened in 2016, spent weeks on the mend after a rare and risky surgery saved her life in August. Despite a recent setback in her healing process, the popular 6 ft, 80 lbs. female ray has made a full recovery after animal care experts at OdySea Aquarium were able to meticulously diagnose and surgically repair a perforation in her small intestine.
