Q: What are your operating hours?

A: OdySea Aquarium is open 365 days a year. We open at 9:00 AM and close at 6:00 PM. The last ticket entry time is 4:30 PM. Operating hours are subject to change. Please check our website for the most updated information.

Q: How long does it take to go through the facility?
A: Visit duration varies by guest. We anticipate it will take approximately 2.5 to 3.5 hours to tour the entire facility.
Q: Am I allowed to leave OdySea Aquarium and return to finish my visit?
A: OdySea Aquarium does not permit re-entry.
Q: What is the best time to visit? When is the best time to arrive?

A: OdySea Aquarium has timed ticket entry. Your time of entry must be selected prior to entering the Aquarium. The last entry time is 5:00PM. It is best to purchase your tickets in advance and arrive at the time selected for your visit.

Q: Can I adjust the date and/or time of my tickets?

A: Tickets are not refundable. OdySea Aquarium will gladly change the date and time of your visit if notified 24 hours PRIOR to the date of your visit. Contact Guest Relations at (480) 291-8000.We cannot make the change after the date of your visit.

Q: Does the Aquarium ever sell out?
A: It is possible that entry times will sell out. We strongly encourage our guests to purchase their tickets in advance. Click here to purchase your tickets in advance.
Q: Is there a military, student or senior discount available?
A: Yes, a student discount is available for students 13-17 or with a college ID. A military discount is available for all active service men and women with a valid ID. A senior discount is available for adults 62 years old and up with a valid ID. Please present ID with ticket at Aquarium entrance.
Q: Do you offer a AAA discount?
A: We do not offer a AAA discount. We do offer discounts to active military, students, and seniors.
Q: I have an AZA Membership. Do I get a discount or free admission?

A: OdySea Aquarium will be seeking Association of Zoos and Aquariums accreditation. Please check back with us later.

Q: Do you offer a group rate?

A: It is important to OdySea Aquarium to offer an outstanding group experience. At this time, we are not coordinating group reservations but would like to contact you directly when the time is right. Click here to complete our Group Reservation Request Form. An OdySea Aquarium Team Member will contact you after October 15th for additional information.

Q: What is the cost for parking?
A: Parking is complimentary at OdySea in the Desert. Parking is limited so please allow extra time to park your vehicle and walk to the Aquarium.
Q: Can we bring a stroller?

A: For the comfort of all our guests at the Aquarium, we only allow single strollers and double strollers that are tandem (front-to-back).  For guests with side-by-side double strollers, jogging strollers, and wagons, we have tandem double strollers available at the Concierge Desk in the Aqua Lobby that you may borrow while in the Aquarium.  Strollers cannot be reserved and are on a first come, first serve basis.

Q: Can we bring food inside the Aquarium?
A: Outside food is not permitted in the Aquarium, with the exception of formula or snacks for individuals with food allergies. The Lighthouse Cafe practices strict food safety guidelines to bring the safest, highest quality menu offerings to OdySea Aquarium.
Q: What items are prohibited in the Aquarium?

A: Restrictions include, but are not limited to, the items listed below:
• Weapons of any kind or objects that appear to be weapons including firearms, ammunition, fireworks, water grenades (metal or plastic), or knives.
• Outside food, including alcoholic beverages or bottles.
• Photography accessories that could disrupt the guest experience. These accessories include, but are not limited to, selfie sticks or tripods.
• Recreational devices with wheels, such as Segways, skateboards, hover boards, balance boards, scooters, inline skates, or shoes with built-in wheels.
• Pets or other animals, except for approved service animals as defined in AZ code 11-1024. Service animals must be under the control of the owner at all times and should remain on a leash or harness. OdySea Aquarium reserves the right to disallow a service animal from entering the building or certain areas within as defined in code 11-1024.
• Any other items that the Aquarium determines may be suspicious, harmful, unsafe, or disruptive.

Q: Is there a security check before entering the Aquarium?
A: No, there is not a security check at OdySea Aquarium. We strongly encourage our guests to visit our Guest Policies prior to their visit by clicking here. All persons and bags are subject to search prior to entering OdySea Aquarium.
Q: Do you have Wheelchairs?
A: Yes, OdySea Aquarium has a limited number of wheelchairs available on a first come, first serve basis. Wheelchairs are located at the Concierge Desk in the Aqua Lobby. Wheelchairs cannot be reserved. The facility is wheelchair accessible.
Q: Do you have lockers?
A: OdySea Aquarium does not have lockers.
Q: Is there a Nursing Area?

A: Yes, please speak with a Guest Relations Specialist and they will assist you to our nursing area.

Q: Do you have Wi-Fi?
A: Yes, we have guest Wi-Fi!
Q: Do you have a Lost and Found?
A: Lost and Found is located at the Information Desk in the Aqua Lobby. OdySea Aquarium will hold Lost and Found items for up to 48 hours. Small items, such as licenses, will be mailed to the owner. Larger items must be picked up by the guest.
Q: Can I host a special event at OdySea Aquarium?

A: Incorporate the extraordinary into your special event at OdySea Aquarium! Have a wedding by the water or sip cocktails next to fascinating sea life. From weddings to corporate meetings, holding your special event at the OdySea Aquarium will provide a unique experience and lasting memories. Offering both beautiful indoor and outdoor space, your event can be customized to fit your vision and needs- and the guest list may even include an otter or a penguin. Q: Do you host Birthday Parties?
A: At this time we do not have a Birthday Party program.
Q: Can I take pictures?
A: Our professional photographers are on hand to capture your experience for memories that you’ll cherish for a lifetime. Guests may also take pictures but flash or strobes may not be permitted in front of some exhibits. We would love to see your pictures if you post to Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram. Use #odyseaaquarium. Please note we prohibit the use of selfie sticks and tripods.
Q: Are Service Animals permitted in the facility?
A: OdySea Aquarium is in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and permits services animals in the facility. Please refer to code 11-1024 “Service animals: rights of individuals with disabilities; violation; classification definitions” within Arizona State Legislature. The state of Arizona only recognizes dogs and miniature horses as service animals. Service animals must be under the control of the owner at all times and should remain on a leash or harness OdySea Aquarium reserves the right to disallow a service animal from entering the building or certain areas within as defined in code 11-1024.
Q: Is there a smoking area at OdySea Aquarium?
A: OdySea Aquarium is a smoke free facility. Smoking any tobacco products or electronic cigarettes is strictly prohibited.
Q: Can I touch the animals?
A: For the safety of both our guests and animals, we do not permit guests to touch animals with the exception of our Tide Touch Pool and Stingray Bay touch area.
Q: Can I feed the animals?

A: Our Animal Care Specialists prepare restaurant quality meals specially designed for each animal. Please do not feed any of the animals.

Q: Can you answer a question about my aquatic pet?
A: Our Animal Care Specialists are very busy caring for our animals. We strongly encourage you to speak with your veterinarian.
Q: I would like to work or volunteer at OdySea Aquarium. How do I apply?
