OdySea Aquarium continues to follow local, state, and CDC guidelines to provide a safe place to visit, including directives from our local SRPMIC governing body. We ask all Guests to work together to follow the latest guidelines. We continue to manage capacities and recommend purchasing general admission tickets in advance. General Admission tickets require a date and time for entry. Our Team Members continue to sanitize high touch areas. Team Members that do not feel well are asked to stay home and we ask our Guests to do the same.
OdySea Aquarium is open 365 days a year beginning at 9am. Closing time varies. Click here for the most updated closing times.
A: OdySea Aquarium is currently accepting contactless payments. We are accepting Credit Card (Visa, Master Card, and Discover), Debit Card and Apple Pay payments only. American Express is not accepted.
A: Visit times can vary, but we recommended allowing a minimum of 2 hours for your visit to the Aquarium.
No. Unfortunately, guests are no longer allowed to re-enter after they have left the aquarium.
A: Tickets are not refundable. OdySea Aquarium will gladly change the date of your visit if notified 24 hours PRIOR to the date of your visit. Contact Guest Relations at (480) 291-8000.We cannot make the change after the date of your visit.
A: Yes, a military discount is available for all active service men and women with a valid ID. Please present ID at Aquarium Ticket Window to receive discount.
A: We do not offer an AAA discount. We do offer discounts to active military.
We have a reciprocal program with the AZA. OdySea Aquarium offers complimentary admission to Members of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums. The complimentary admission is valid for the member only. Members of AZA accredited zoos and aquariums do not receive complimentary or discounted admission.
A: It is important to OdySea Aquarium to offer an outstanding group experience. Click here to complete our Group Reservation Request Form. Once your reservation form is received, an OdySea Aquarium Team Member will contact you with additional information.
A: Parking is complimentary at Arizona Boardwalk. Parking is limited so please allow extra time to park your vehicle and walk to the Aquarium.
A: Yes, we allow single and double strollers inside the Aquarium. Wagons are also welcome inside the facility. Strollers may be borrowed for a refundable usage fee of $50.00. Stroller inventory is available on a first come, first served basis at the Concierge Desk.
A: Outside food is not permitted in the Aquarium, with the exception of formula or snacks for individuals with food allergies. The Lighthouse Cafe practices strict food safety guidelines to bring the safest, highest quality menu offerings to OdySea Aquarium.
A: Restrictions include, but are not limited to, the items listed below:
• Weapons of any kind or objects that appear to be weapons including firearms, ammunition, fireworks, water grenades (metal or plastic), or knives.
• Outside food, including alcoholic beverages or bottles.
• Photography accessories that could disrupt the guest experience. These accessories include, but are not limited to, selfie sticks or tripods. Flash and strobes are not permitted inside the aquarium.
• Recreational devices with wheels, such as Segways, skateboards, hover boards, balance boards, scooters, inline skates, or shoes with built-in wheels.
• Pets or other animals, except for approved service animals as defined in AZ code 11-1024. Service animals must be under the control of the owner at all times and should remain on a leash or harness. OdySea Aquarium reserves the right to disallow a service animal from entering the building or certain areas within as defined in code 11-1024.
• Any other items that the Aquarium determines may be suspicious, harmful, unsafe, or disruptive.
A: No, there is not a security check at OdySea Aquarium. We strongly encourage our guests to visit our Guest Policies prior to their visit by clicking here. All persons and bags are subject to search prior to entering OdySea Aquarium.
A: Yes, OdySea Aquarium has a limited number of wheelchairs available on a first come, first serve basis. Wheelchairs are located at the Concierge Desk in the Aqua Lobby. Wheelchairs cannot be reserved. The facility is wheelchair accessible.
A: OdySea Aquarium does not have lockers.
A: Yes, please speak with a Guest Relations Specialist and they will assist you to our nursing area.
A: Yes, we have guest Wi-Fi!
A: Lost and Found is located at the Security Desk. If you have lost an item, please visit the Concierge Desk in the Aqua Lobby and you will be escorted to the Security Desk. You may also call (480) 291-8000 and ask for the Security Desk to inquire about your lost item. OdySea Aquarium will hold Lost and Found items for up to 48 hours. Small items, such as licenses, will be mailed to the owner. Larger items must be picked up by the guest.
A: Incorporate the extraordinary into your special event at OdySea Aquarium! Have a wedding by the water or sip cocktails next to fascinating sea life. From weddings to corporate meetings, holding your special event at the OdySea Aquarium will provide a unique experience and lasting memories. Offering both beautiful indoor and outdoor space, your event can be customized to fit your vision and needs- and the guest list may even include an otter or a penguin. A: No, we do not offer birthday parties.
A: Our professional photographers are on hand to capture your experience for memories that you’ll cherish for a lifetime. Guests may also take pictures, but the use of flash and strobes is not permitted inside the aquarium. We also prohibit the use of selfie sticks and tripods. We would love to see your pictures if you post on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram. Use #odyseaaquarium.
A: OdySea Aquarium is in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and permits services animals in the facility. Please refer to code 11-1024 “Service animals: rights of individuals with disabilities; violation; classification definitions” within Arizona State Legislature. The state of Arizona only recognizes dogs and miniature horses as service animals. Service animals must be under the control of the owner at all times and should remain on a leash or harness OdySea Aquarium reserves the right to disallow a service animal from entering the building or certain areas within as defined in code 11-1024.
A: OdySea Aquarium is a smoke free facility. Smoking any tobacco products or electronic cigarettes is strictly prohibited.
A: For the safety of both our guests and animals, we do not permit guests to touch animals with the exception of our Tide Touch Pool, SeaTREK’s Stingray Bay touch area, Stingray Shores and Sturgeon Cove, where you can experience the only Russian Sturgeon Touch Exhibit in the world!
A: Our Animal Care Specialists prepare restaurant quality meals specially designed for each animal. Please do not feed any of the animals.
